Mr. Ervin Lee Spruill, Jr., 42, unexpectedly but peacefully passed from this life on June 6, 2000 in Decatur, Georgia. He was a 1976 graduate of Glenn Hills High School and a graduate of the Georgia Military Academy. He served his country in the United States Army and was a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist with the State of Georgia. He was a member of the Beulah Grove Baptist Church, Augusta and a member of the Masonic Lodge Wide-Awake 252, Ridge Spring, South Carolina. He leaves to mourn his loss and to cherish his memories his parents, CSM (ret) Ervin L. and Helen Spruill, Sr., Augusta; his daughter Tamara Michelle Spruill, Augusta; two grandsons, Dante and Andre Spruill, Augusta; one brother Kent Joseph Spruill, Augusta; two sisters, Denotra Spruill Gunther, Lexington, Kentucky and Vicki Spruill Martin, Augusta; a special friend; Janice Ryans, North Augusta, South Carolina; a sister-in-love, Pamela Spruill; a bromer-in-love, Malcolm Gunther, Lexington, Kentucky; four nephews, Macaro Martin; Gabriel Gunther, Devin Spruill and Trey Livingston; three nieces, Janelle Gentry, Diamond Martin, and Courtney Livingston; maternal aunt, Gladys Augustine, New Orleans, Louisiana; paternal aunts, Margaret Downing, Williamston, North Carolina, Elizabeth Blount, New York; paternal uncles, Esau Spruill and Annanise Spruill both of New York; and many loving cousins, friends and co-workers.
