Annie M as Smith was born on March 4, 1906 in W illiston, South <Uarolina, the youngest of nine children born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Smith. 
Annie Mae went on to marry Cal Smith and they were the proud parents of Daisy Mae. Cal preceded her in death. 
Annie Mae resided at 212 Furgol Street, Augusta, Georgia for twenty--two years and was a well loved member of the community. 
She was a very religious woman and worshiped at the Bell Pond Baptist Church, Williston, South Carolina. 
Her only surviving sister is Sarah Ann O 'Neal of Washington, Da ,, Her daughter and son-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. Seymore (Daisy Mae) Rainey live in Augusta, Georgia. 
Annie Mae has three grandchildren, Kay Creech ofBoston, Mass., James Smith and W illis Smith both of Ft. Pierce, Florida. Also cherishing in her memory are their spouses, several nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild and a host of friends and loved ones.
