Eric w as an energetic, vibrate and happy nine year old. He never met a stranger. Eric loved basketball, playing outside, Xbox 360 and his Nintendo 3DS XL. He attended Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where he sang on the Choir, prayed, recited poems, scriptures and welcomes on numerous program s since the age of nine. Eric w as a rising fourth grader at C.T. W alker Magnet School where he received several honors School Year 2014-2015. Eric's early education started at Hall's Learning Center. Eric's biggest love w as Basketball and he w as called EJ, Easy "E" and "E." He w as a member of the Boys & Girls Club of the CSRA E. W . Hagler Center and played on the clubs basketball team. He w as a proud member of the AAU Traveling Basketball Team United Elite "W arriors" and w as a Senior Leader of the third grade team. Eric w as a "Leader." Eric w as also an Organ Donor, and four to five more people will live because of him. He w as preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy (Grandma "Dot") Jones and grandfather, Deacon Frank Simon, Jr. (Grand Daddy). Eric leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Frankie Simon (hewas ha'only child) and his father, Eric D. Smalls (hisfather's babyboy"DaddyMan"); siblings, Tony (Bo jangles), Marcus, Erica, Crystal, Dominque, Eric Deion, Shaunte and Trevon; grandmother, Lessie M. Simon (Na Na); aunts and uncles, Anthony "Uncle Amp" (Doris) Jones of Evans, Georgia, Rosalind (Julius) Turnipseed of Nashville, Tennessee, Christine Gibson of Augusta, Georgia, Judith (Tyrone) Butler of Augusta, Georgia, Shelia Taylor of Columbia South Carolina and Marla (Qunicy) Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; a very special godfather, Deacon W illie (Pinecone) Bowdry; godmother, Earnestine Rhoney and goddaddy, "Truck"; his buddy's, Darryl Crooms, Derek Cooper,Justin Meyers, C.J. and Braylon Bussey, Khalon Hudson, Camari Warren, DeMarco Middleton, Jamarian Johnson, John (Jaye) Powell, Nolan Parzella and Laithen Mitchell; and a host of cousins from Augusta, Arizona, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee that he loved, and "The Village" that helped raise this "Child."
