Mr. George (Boy) Simpkins, Sr. d e p a r t e d this life on Tuesday Morning, Ja nu a r y 17, 1984 at the home of his sister whom he lived with. 
He was born in Salu da County, on O c t o b e r 2, 1909, he was a son of the late Able and B e a  trice Mo ore Simpkins, He was a me mb er of the Rock Hill Baptist Church. 
He was un i t e d in Holy M a t r i m o n y to Mi ss MotLena C o l e ma n who p r e c e d e d him in death, one son 3 ] so p r s e e d e d h i m in dea th. 
He leaves to ch erish his fond memo ri es ; one d a ug ht er , Ms. Jean D. Smith of New York; two sister, Mrs, L i z z i e S. C o l e m a n of Saluda, SC and Mrs, Ella Mae Rollings of New York; two grandsons; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Beulah Simpkins of New York; three sisters-in-law, two b r o t h e r s - i n - l a w ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends,
