 ObJTUARy 
The pathway of the just is a shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. This is a tender hour, but in no way an hour of tragedy. There is something utterly appropriate about the going home of this one who has lived a happy and useful life. Who has put so much of goodness, kindness, love, and service for others and loyalty to God into his years. 
Mr. George Rouse quietly and peacefully slept away Saturday morning at Talmadge Memorial Hospital after several months of declining health. 
He was a native of Lincoln County Georgia but had lived most of his adult life in Augusta, Georgia, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Rouse. 
Those who are deeply touched are a very special friend, Mrs. Frances Washington, Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Ella N. Riles and Ms. Shirley Rouse, both of Augusta, Ga.; two sons, Mr. Curtis Rouse and Mr. Marvin Rouse, both of Raleigh, N. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Lanier and Mrs. Nora Pope, Augusta, Ga.; six brothers, Thomas Rouse and Spergeon Rouse, Detroit, Mich., Alexander Rouse, Lincolnton, Ga., John R. Rouse, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Paul and James Rouse, both of Augusta, Ga.; five grandchildren; one uncle, Lace Rouse, Lincolnton, Ga.; two aunts, Mrs. Clara Wynn, Lincolnton, Ga., and Mrs. Julia Starks, Pittsburgh, Pa., and many other sorrowing relatives and friends. 
AcklMOwUdqEMENT 
Words are inadequate to express the humbelness and gratefulness we feel toward all of our friends who have consoled us during our bereavement. Your prayers, your love, your presence and service has sustained us. Your cards, telegrams, flowers, and gifts of food were warmly appreciated. We saw all of these as Gods love expressed through you. Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you very much.
