Rouse died March 30, 1978 at Route 4, Box 187, Lincolnton, Ga. She was born January 22, 1898 in Lincolnton, Ga. Mrs!. Nora Rouse was married to Mr. Ike Murray, who preceded her in death, and to this union a daughter was born, Mrs. Lylet Murray Blackwell, who with her husband, preceded her in death. She later married Mr. Lace Rouse. She was a member of New Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lincolnton, Ga., where she joined at an early age. She worked and served willingly and faithfully as a Sunday School teacher. Survivors include a devoted husband, Mr. Lace Rouse, Lin colnton, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Nettie Rouse, Lincolnton, Ga.; four grandchildren, Mr. Hosea Blackwell, Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Eliza beth Elam, Martinez, Ga. Mr. Elijah Blackwell and Mr. Bobby Blackwell, both of Martinez, Ga.; two sisters-i.n-law, Mrs. Clara Wynn, Lincolnton, Ga., and Mrs. Julia Storks; Pittsburgh, Pa,; one brother-in-law, Mr. Jesse Rouse, Lincolnton, Ga.; three granddaughters-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Blackwell, Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Julia Blackwell, Martinez, Ga., and Mrs. Doris Blackwell, Lincolnton, Ga. one grandson-in-law, Mr. Moss Elam, Martinez, Ga.; 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sev eral nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
