** OBITUARY ** Mrs. Leroy (Ida Mae) Walton Ross was the daughter of the late Newton Walton and Mrs. Mattie L. Knox Pollard. She was born July 20, 1928 in Appling, Georgia, and departed this life November 14, 1984 at her residence, 3647 Rome Way, Augusta, Georgia. At an early age she was converted and baptized at the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Columbia County, Appling Georgia, by the late Rev. W.M. Nelson, where she served until her health began to fail. She also was a faithful member of Spiritual Singer. She was joined in Holy Wedlock to Mr. Leroy Ross, August 1944, and to this union ten children were born. Devoted and dedicated to her church, family, husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, mother, sister, and brother. Survivors include a loyal devoted husband, Leroy Ross, Sr.; five daughters, Mrs. Betty J. Hatcher, Mrs. Annette R. Borum, Mrs. Angelina R. Holland, Miss Prisilla Ross and Cynthia Ross, all of Augusta, Georgia,; five sons, Mr. Leroy Ross, Jr., Brenwood, N.J., Willie E. Ross, Jesse Ross, Charles Ross, and Tony Ross, all of Augusta, GA.; mother, Mrs. Mattie L. Knox Pollard, sister, Mrs. Lizzie M. Dunn, a brother, Mr. Joe Samuel Walton, Cliffwood, N.J.; one aunt, Mrs. Alma L. Phillips, East Orange, N.J.; one uncle,,Mr. Willie E. Knox, Cliffwood, N.J.; three daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, fourteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends. ** PROGRAM ** Presiding - Rev.
