 Obituary 
Mr. Jerome "Bubba" Pollard, Jr. was born on May 18, 1943 to the late Mr. Gerome Pollard, Sr. and Janie Dorsey Pollard of Columbia County, Georgia. He departed this life on November 2 3 ,2 0 0 7 . 
 
Jerome received his early education in die schools of Columbia 
 
County, Gibbs and Blanchard Consolidated High. He 
 
continued on his education at Augusta Technical School in 
 
Automotive Mechanics. He later received his license as a 
 
Master Glazer and was employed at PPG and Glass Service 
 
Center of Augusta, Georgia for more than thirty years.

Jerome loved life and showed it through his family and friends. Jerome had the talent o f being very crafty with tools and was always ready to share his skills and information with someone else. 
 
Jerome accepted Christ in his life and was baptized and became a member o f The Fairview Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithful until the time of his death. 
 
Jerome leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Mamie Jo Pollard o f Evans, Georgia; three sons, Michael A. Williams, Miami, Florida, Jerome Pollard III, Augusta, Georgia and Antonio T. Pollard, Phoenix, Arizona; three daughters, Sandra J. Ganues, Miramar, Florida, Teresa Manuel, Augusta, Georgia and Nicole R. Pollard, Augusta, Georgia; two stepchildren, Monterio L. Green, Evans, Georgia and Shari C. Grafton, Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters-in-law, Jackie Williams and Renay Green; four sisters, Alice Butler, Augusta, Georgia, Zelean (Eugene) Dent, Grovetown, Georgia, Georgene Williams, Martinez, Georgia and Merian (Bobby) Johnson, Lithonia, Georgia; three brothers, Robert (Doris) Pollard, Evans, Georgia, James (Susie) Pollard, Martinez, Georgia and Napolcan (Mandy) Pollard, Sr., Augusta, Georgia; mother-inlaw Rosa L. King, Evans, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, uncles, aunts and a host o f nieces and nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
