 Obituary

Mary Williams Pendarvis, 52, the daughter o f the late Simon Williams, Sr. and the late Leona Johnson, was born April 4, 1945, in Edgefield County, SC. She departed this life unexpectedly. 
Mary, lived in New York fo r a number o f years and was married to the late Robert Pendarvis. 
After moving back to Edgefield County she attended Pidemont Technical College. 
Those who will miss her most are her daughters: Bridgette P. (Carl) Langford, Edgefield, SC; Gail M. (Shawn) Gibson, Trenton, SC; Four brothers: Simon (Queen) Williams, Jr., Johnston, SC; John R. (Brenda) Williams, NY; Johnny Clarence (Viola) Williams, Baltimore, MD; Bobby (Sarah) Williams, Ozone Park, NY; Four sisters: Emmie Smith, Trenton, NJ; Fairy Bell (Walter) Pixley and Cheryl (David) Butler, both o f Johnston, SC, and Dorothy Huckaby, Roosevelt, NY; Grandchildren: Carl D. Langford, Jr. Camdian and Kendrell McKie and De ' Shawn Gibson, Three aunts: Evelyn Scott and Valeria Daniels, both o f Aiken, and Mary Brincefield' Maryland; one uncle, Jesse Williams, Johnston, SC, Host o f nieces and nephews cousins other relatives and many sorrowing o ffriends.

Dear Momma, I never thought the day would come that I would he writing you a letter good-bye. I've written the one's about / 'll be right back, or I 'm sorry but never one like this, / love you and anyone that know me knows that you were my back bone, my strength and my pride. You've ne\'er turnedyour back on me regardless if I was right or wrong. You are a precious pearl that has been laid to rest. I f I could tell you one last thing or see your smile, I would want you to know Momma, my life will never be the same! 1 knew this day had to come, but / had pictured you being here always. I never imagine this day would be so soon. Momma thank you fo r all you ve donefo r me. Thank you for being therefor me. Thank you for belie\'ing in me when e\'ery one else doubted me. Momma, Bridgette, Dexter Camdian, Kendrell, De 'Shawn and I will miss your dearly. But now I know in mv heart you 're okay, you 're safe. No more pain, suffering, or hospitals that we know you hated so much. But we only did what we knew was best fo r you. Momma, you were a Mother amongst Mothers a friend amongstfriends. You stayed by me until the end. I love you!
