White, Pastor OBITUARY Rev. Jack Parks was bom March 12, 1906 in Lincolnton, Georgia. He departed this earthly life on February 12, 1995 at his residence in Jacksonville, Florida. He was baptized at an early age at Newberry Missionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully until he moved. He lived in Charleston, S.C. for thirty two years and the past two years in Jacksonville, Fla., where he was a member o f Rock Deliverance Church For All People. Rev. Parks was married to Miss Savannah M. Martin and during their Union twelve children were bom. Dea. Thomas Parks, Rev. Winston Parks and Mr. Johnny Parks all preceded him in death. Survivors are: his wife Mrs. Ella B. Parks o f Knightsville, S.C.; six sons, Bishop Robert W. Parks (Clara), Minister Richmond Parks (Barbara), Bishop John Parks (Annie Bell) and Mr. Frank Parks all o f Charleston, S.C., Rev. Jackson Parks (Carrie) o f Martinez, Ga. and Elder Henry Parks (Carolyn) o f Charlotte, N.C.; three daughters, Ms. Susie Barksdale o f Martinez, Ga., Prophetess Shirley Meyers o f Jacksonville, Fla. and Ms. Idell Knox o f Iowa; one adopted son, Dea. Robert Parks (Louise) o f Lincolnton, Ga.; three daughters in law, Mrs. Wynetta Parks o f Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Mazie Parks o f Augusta, Ga. and Mrs. Irene Parks o f Newark, N.J.; a host o f grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
