Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Carrie M. Parks, Thursday, December 3, 1998, 2:00 p.m., New Piney Grove Baptist Church, Reverend S. T. Thompkins, officiating

9 '/7Z <? TQQ,
Don't grieve fo r me, fo r now I'm free I'm follow ing the path God has laidfo r me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play, Tasks left undone must stay that way I found peace at the end o f the day.
I f my parting has left a void Thenf i ll it with rememberedjoys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too w ill miss. Be not burdened with times o f sorrow, I wish you the sunshine o f tomorrow, M y life's been fu ll, I savored much,
Goodfriends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue g rief Lift up your hearts, and share with me, G od wanted me NOW, He has set mefree.

Grandma Doesn't Care
I got some jam on her new couch, But Grandma doesn't care.
I lost my toothbrush, dropped a glass, My old jeans have a tear.
I tipped the cat dish on thefloor, My feet are always bare,
The way I look is a disgrace, But, Grandma doesn't care. She's very busy, then she sees,
The tangles in my hair She gets a brush, I make afuss,
But, Grandma doesn't care. When I am grown and on my own,
When visits become rare, I won'tforget the love I'd get when Grandma didn't care.
