She departed this life on Saturday, October 12th at 1:00 a . m a t home. She was a member in good standing at Mt. Pisgah A M E Church where she also served on the Missionary Society and the Stewardess Board. She leaves to mourn her loss, two daughters, Mrs. Trifredia O. Adams of Saluda, South Carolina and Miss Maude K. Owens of Jamaica, New York; one adopted son, Mr. Bruce C. Owens of the home; one sister, Mrs. Susie Bowers of Union, New Jersey; one son-in-law, Mr. Frank Adams of Saluda; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Ann Owens of New York; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Frizeal Chappie; along with ten grandchildren; seven great grands; three great-great grands; and many other relatives and friends.
