Young, Officiating Mrs. Lula Abney Oliver was the daughter of the late Mr. George Abney and Mrs. Elvira Coleman Abney. She was the widow of the late Mr. John Henry Oliver. A native of South Carolina, Mrs. Oliver lived in Augusta, Georgia most of her life. She was united with the Thankful Baptist Church in 1918 and served faithfully until death. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Mary E. Tarver; a nephew-inlaw, Mr. Lee Tarver and a host of other relatives and friends.
