Annie Darby Nipper, daugh ter of the late Will and Mary Darby, was born in Edgefield, South Caro lina. She departed this life Friday, August 13, 2004 at University Hos pital. 
At an early age, she was converted and baptized at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Edgefield County, South Carolina. In later years, she joined Hosannah Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Willie J. White. She attended Bettis Academy Public School. 
She was married to the late Chester Nipper. 
Her memories will be cherished by a host of nieces and nephews, from the descendents of Wallace Cohen, Fannie Mae Nipper, Willie Mae Darby, Solomon Darby, Catherine Harper and Car rie L. Clark; and a host of other relatives and friends.
