" REVELATION 21:4 JOHN WESLEY NEELY, III was born October 23,1944 to the late John Wesley Neely, Jr. and Annie Lee Neely of Augusta, Georgia. He was the oldest of four children. He departed this life June 13,2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness. John accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in 1958. He was a member of Thankful Baptist Church where he served until his health dechned. He graduated from Lucy Craft Laney High School in 1962. He held various positions prior to employment with the City of Augusta where he remained for several years. John was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Delores Rhaney Neely; and his baby sister, Velveeta Neely Abney.
