She was an only child. Susie attended the public school system in Augusta, GA. Susie married Robert Moore on March 29,1952. From this glorious matrimonial union, three children were born; Denise (preceded in death), Robert Moore, Jr., and Margaret Michelle Moore. She entered this union with one child, Deloris. Susie brought her family to New York in 1959. Susie worked at St. Luke's Hospital for 37 years and retired in 1996 from the Nursing Department. Susie was saved at a young age and was baptized at First Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hephzibah, GA. While in New York, Susie joined St. Luke A.M.E. Church and became an active member of the Intermediate Usher Epard until her health failed. , *., Susie was a high spiritedperson and was loved and adored by everyone who came in contact with her. Susie had a passion for living and she lived life to the fullest Susie leaves to mourn her passing three children, Deloris Simmonds, Robert Moore and Margaret Michelle Moore; one son-in-law, Carl Simmonds; 5 grandchildren, Henry Moore, Carl Simmonds, Jr., Robert Carter, Shantee Sanders and Carlene Griffin; 7 great grandchildren; 2 aunts, Gladys Campbell ofHephzibah, GA and Susie Brown of Richmond, VA; a devotedfriend of25 years, Norman Richard Smith, and a host ofrelatives andfriends.
