 LENWOOD OLIVER MOODY LIFE REFLECTIONS 
God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were bard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered, "God has smiled on me, He has set mefree." 
Lenwood was born on June 26, 1957 to J. B. and Aleatha Odom Moody in Aiken, South Carolina. He departed this life on Thursday, October 5, 2000 at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. The family moved to Augusta, Georgia where he attended school in the Richmond County School District. He was a 1975 Graduate of Glenn Hills High School and a 1984 Graduate of Clark Atlanta, University. 
Lenwood spent a total of six years in the United States Army leaving the service in 1987 as a 1st Lieutenant. 
At an early age he accepted Christ and joined the Taber nacle Baptist Church. While living in other cities, he attended various churches. When he moved home, he reunited with Taber nacle Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his health failed. 
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Reverend J. B. Moody and Aleatha Moody, Aiken, South Carolina; a brother, Carl Moody of Aiken, South Carolina; one sister, Ann Holmes of Augusta, Georgia and one adopted sister, Audrea Odom of Atlanta, Georgia; his paternal grandmother, Daisy Moody of Aiken, South Carolina; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Holmes, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia; a god-son, Patrick Deering of Waynesville, Missouri; a close friend, Lawanda Churchwell of Augusta, Georgia; two nephews, Jimmy Holmes, III of Augusta, Georgia and Larez Moody of Carrelton, Georgia; three nieces, Kewanja Forest of Montgomery, Alabama, Tiffany Autry and Tammy Autry both of Augusta, Georgia; one great nephew, Jimmy Leonte Holmes of Augusta, Georgia; one great niece, Tehilliah Autry of Augusta, Georgia; five aunts; eleven uncles; one great uncle; a god-mother, Ruth Moody of Brooklyn, New York; and a host of cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
