OBITUARY On February 28, 1985 at University Hospital approximately 8:45 p.m., God took upon himself.to deliver Annie Key Merriweather from her suffering pains here on earth. Mrs. Annie K. Merriweather, the daughter of the late Mr. W illie and Anna Broadwater Key, was born December 12, 1894 in Edgefield County, S.C. She attended the rural school of the community. At an early age she was converted and baptized at the Old Piney Grove Baptist Church under the late Pastor Rev. D.W. Mitchum. Later she united with Poplar Spring Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health failed. On July 25, 1914 she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Moses M erriweather. To this union twelve children were born and four children preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her five daughters, Mrs. Julia Griffin and Mrs. Betty Young, both of North Augusta, S.C., Mrs. M ary Lanham of St. Albany, N.Y., Mrs. Roberta Buggs of Edgefield, S.C. and Mrs. Anna Bell Mosely of Jamaica, N.Y.; three sons, Moses Merriweather, Jr. of Jamaica, N.Y., W illie Merriweather and Roosevelt Merriweather, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs. M ary L. Key of North Augusta, S.C., Mrs. Georgia Mahand of Philadelphia, Penn., and Mrs. Bessie Mae Turner of Belvedere, S.C.; forty-one grandchildren, sixty great-grandchildren,eight great-great-grandchildren, three daughtersin-law, five sons-in-law, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends. ** ORDER OF SERVICE ** PRESIDING ..................................................
