He served in the US Army from 1941 to 1945 where he attained the rank of Sergeant and received recognition for **k**S culinary skills. For over 50 years he worked as an executive chef in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. 5***;3 At an early age he was baptized and after moving to Charlotte, NC, he joined Friendship Baptist Church. 1 * He is survived by a devoted wife of 63 years, Juanita Grant *k k McClettie, Houston, children, Vicky D. McClettie and Maurice B. McClettie, Houston, TX, Glenn L. McClettie (Ethel), Charlotte, NC, Franklin McClattie (Beulah), N.
