Later she m oved to N ew York City w here she lived for many years. She m oved back to Georgia. At an early age, she was baptized at Allen Chapel Baptist Church in Burke County. She departed this life on Dec. 6, 1990, at Humana Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. She leaves to mourn: three sisters, M ozel Turner of Augusta, Georgia; Mattie Kelly of N ew York City, N.Y.; Clauddie Brown of Hephzibah, Georgia; one brother, Percy Kelly o f South Carolina; two close cousins, Deacon and Mrs. Charlie Patrick of Augusta, Georgia, whom she had asked to take care of her and honor her request to b e buried at her church.
