Dad.... He never looked for praises; he was never one to boast He just went on quietly working, for the ones he loved the most His dreams were seldom spoken, his wants were very few And most of the time his worries, went unspoken too He was there....A firm foundation, through all our storms of lie a sturdy hand to hold on to, in times of stress and strife a true friend we could turn t o, when times were good or bad one of our greatest blessings, the man that we called "DAD" Don, Karl and Anthony.... Granddaddy... A man of love, devotion, commitment, and prominence. Always left a lasting impression on the ones he invigorated. A man that can walk in a room and showcase smiles is a man of essence. That man is Deacon Jones, our granddaddy; a man always on a mission for God. His love and cheer made the world seem clear. As he sang all of our problems away. Embrace and remember the love and dedication he's shown to everyone and the positive impact he's left on everyone's lives. He will always be a Jones, who with no exception, kept the ease and made the peace! The Grandkids .... A Man of many strengths; dependable, patient, virtuous A Man of few words but thunderous in actions A loving Man to family, church family and his fellow man A caring man, who showed compassion for those known and unknown to him Did his all to help those in time of need. A Man of God, had a thirst for God's word and upon learning the word applied it in his everyday life, held as a shining example for us to follow as a child of God.
