 O bituary 
jQizzie ^Jackson (Rories (also known as Ditter) was bom and raised 
in Evans, Georgia. She was the oldest of seven children of the late Ellis and Mary Pollard Jackson. 
She joined Mount Olive Baptist Church at an early age, where she remained a dedicated member all her life. In her younger years, she served as Secretary of the Society, which was affiliated with the church and as a choir member. She has served as Mother of Mount Olive Baptist church for many years. 
In 1908, she met and married the late Albert Jones. From this union nine children were bom. In spite of her large family, she was a devoted wife and mother, and also taught school. 
She is survived by: five daughters, Roberta Washington, Augusta, GA; Emma Samuels, Long Island, NY; Rosa B. Williams, Elease Davis and Trudie Mackie, all of Augusta, GA; one sister, Marie Jackson, Philadelphia, PA; thirty-one grandchildren, two daughters-in-law, and a host of great-grands, great-great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
