- Jm dree - Dont grieve for me, for now Im free. Im following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard him call; I TURNED MY BACK AND LEFT IT ALL. I COULD NOT STAY ANOTHER DAY, TO LAUGH, TO LOVE, TO WORK OR PLAY. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I FOUND THAT PLACE AT THE CLOSE OF DAY. If MY PARTING HAS LEFT A VOID, THEN FILL IT WITH REMEMBERED JOY. A FRIENDSHIP SHARED, A LAUGH, A KISS; OH YES, THESE THINGS, I TOO WILL MISS. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I WISH YOU THE SUNSHINE OF TOMORROW. My lifes been full, I savored much; GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD TIMES, A LOVED ONES TOUCH. Perhaps my time seems all too brief; dont lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free. My Mother Kept A garden My Mother kept a garden, A GARDEN OF THE HEART, She planted all the good things THAT GAVE MY LIFE IT'S START. She turned me to the sunshine AND ENCOURAGED ME TO DREAM, Fostering and nurturing THE SEEDS OF SELF'ESTEEM... And when the winds and rain came, SHE PROTECTED ME ENOUGH - But not too much because she knew Id NEED TO STAND UP STRONG AND TOUGH. Her constant good example ALWAYS TAUGHT ME RIGHT FROM WRONG - Markers for my pathway THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME LONG. I am my Mothers garden. I AM HER LEGACY - And I HOPE TODAY SHE FEELS THE LOVE REFLECTED BACK FROM ME. - Author Unknown - Zhe Order of Service ~ Presiding, Reverend Dr. Charles E.
