And with chilly fingers sealed the lips of our loved one, Mrs. Lillie Mae Johnson. She was born in Lincoln County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Sallie Juptier; Mrs. Johnson departed this life Friday, December 10, 1971 at the University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. At an early age she was converted, baptized and joined the New Berry Baptist Church. Later she united with Rehoboth Baptist Church where she served until death. She was married to the late Mr. Charlie Johnson, to this union six children were born; of which four survived. She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Mrs. Daisy J. C. Choice, Augusta, Georgia; three sons, Mr. Ellis Johnson, Augusta, Georgia; Mr. Warren Johnson, Evans, Ga.; and Mr. Jeanyboy Johnson of Martinez, Ga.; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Freddie McCoy, and Mrs. Nan Johnson both of Reidsville, N.C.; four daughters-in-law, one son-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
