FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH INTERMENT WOODLAWN MEMORIAL PARK c^futafringi cSzKjiaz OBITUARY Attorney Thomas Mitchell Jackson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Jackson, was born on February 5, 1932 in Washington D.C. He spent his formative years in Boston, Massachusetts. He was united in holy matrimony to Miss Shirley Anne Lee of Macon in 1956. They were blessed with one daughter, Viveca Annette Jackson. Attorney Jackson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Los Angeles State College and a LLB degree from Howard University School of Law. He moved to Macon in 1959 and opened his law office in 1964. In 1977, he was appointed to Macon Municipal Court as the associate judge where he served for seven years. He was a Marine Corps veteran. In addition to numerous professional organizations he was affiliated with the Boule, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and was a life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. He leaves in celebration of his life: his devoted wife, Mrs. Shirley L. Jackson and a loving daughter, Ms. Viveca A. Jackson, both of Macon, Georgia; a brother, Dr. Frank Donald Jackson of Boston, Massachusetts; a sister, Antoinette J. Hatfield; and a host of other relatives and friends. ORDER OF SERVICES REV.
