She departed this life on January 13, 1995. She was a member of New Frazier Temple Church of God in Christ where she served as president of the Pastor's Aide. She was the loving wife of Elder Lee W. Houston, Sr., and mother of four children. Cherishing precious memories are: her devoted husband, Elder Lee Wesley Houston, Sr.; three sons, Rev. Curtis A. (Helen) Merriweather of Beech Island, SC, Lee Wesley (Vicki) Houston, Jr. and Eric B. Houston, of North Augusta, SC; one daughter, Veronica Elease (Derrell) Jackson of Dublin, GA; three grandsons, Curtis A. Merriweather, Jr., Wesley R. Merriweather and Lee Wesley Houston, HI; granddaughter, Victoria Jackson; two sisters, Estelle (S.T.) Lott and Clara (Harry) Bush of Bath, SC; two brothers, Leroy Merriweather of New York and William Merriweather of Redding, PA; a devoted mother-in-law, Flossie Houston of Augusta, GA; three devoted aunts, Katie Hacker of Augusta, GA, Georgia Key of North Augusta, SC and Ophelia Sullivan of Bath, SC; one uncle, Luther Merriweather o f Bath, SC; a devoted nephew and Pastor, Elder Timothy Merriweather, Sr.; and a host o f loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
