Hamilton, Officiating ** OBITUARY ** Mr. John Hightower entered into rest on October 6, 1987 at the University Hospital. He was born November 11, 1914, in Crawfordville, Georgia, where he received his early education in the public schools. He was the son o f the late Eddie and Mary Hightower. He was married to the late Hattie W right in 1946, and was retired from the Furniture Market, where he worked many years. As an active member o f the Tabernacle Baptist Church he served as a Deacon and sang in the Senior Choir. Survivors include, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Brown Hightower and Mrs. Mary Shipp, Augusta; one brother-in-law, Mr. Harry Shipp, Augusta; two nieces, Mrs. Gloria Evans, Augusta and Miss Daisy L. Hightower, Montclair, N ew Jersey; five nephews, Mr. Lovey Hightower, Jr., Mr. Eddie L. Hightower, Mr. Paul L. Hightower, Augusta, Mr. Harold D. Hightower, Atlanta and Mr. Randal A.
