Gibson, was bom March 27, 1954 in Mitchell, Georgia. She departed this life on November 28, 1993. She attended C.T. Walker Elementary and Lucy C. Laney High School of Richmond County. She was employed over a period of several years with the Georgia Department of Labor, W.J.B.F. Television and the Augusta Chronicle. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Carolyn was one of the co-chairpersons of the Youth Ministry. She leaves to mourn and to cherish her memory: her husband, Grover C. Hickman, Jr.; one son, Stacy Develon Gibson; a daughter, Tiffany Vochelle Hickman; four step daughters; mother, Rosa M. Gibson of Augusta, GA; sisters, Ora M. Reese of Riverdale, GA, Victoria Freeman and Alvenia Kyler of Augusta, GA; one half brother, Kenneth Reese, Atlanta, GA; step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. ****** I DO NOT FEAR TOMORROW 1 do not fear tomorrow For 1 have lived today And though my course was stormy, My pilot knew the way, 1 do not fear tomorrow 1 shall not sail alone The same true pilot shall be with me, He never forsakes His own.
