TABERNACLE BAPTIST CHURCH Gwinnett and Harrison Streets Augusta, Georgia Rev. J. S. Wright and Rev. R. L. Boyd Officiating OBITUARY Passing over thousands and millions who died in in- fancy, and in youth and in the bloom of life, we may say to all who attain the full age or more, that life is a ' vapor that appeareth for a little time then vanisheth away". The flowers that discharge their ministry of love, elaborate their seed and die, but not until their work is done. The mighty oak retains its vigor for ages, but falls at last. The insect race fade with the leaf and die with dying years; their span is brief, but they have finished their work, and dropped into timely dissolution; but for man, death comes at all seasons and all ages. Often He sends no summons before Him, but floats unseen on the breeze. Death comes on hushed footsteps to all. Thus it came to our dear brother Rev. Feltz Henry Hart on Saturday, June 3, 1972. The Reverend Feltz Henry Hart was born February 18, 1908 in Glasscock County, Gibson, Georgia. He joined Hart's Grove Baptist Church, Jefferson County in 1917. He was licensed to preach April 3, 1926 and ordained August 8, 1928 at the Hart's Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. erend R. L. Boyd. He pastored from 1930 to 1972 where he died as Pastor of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church since 1961. He served as President of the Ministers Alliance of Augusta, Ga., and secretary of the General Missionary Baptist Conven- tion of Georgia. In 1932 he was united in holy wedlock with Lure Roberts. To this union 3 children were born. He leaves to cherish his memories his widow, Mrs. Lure Roberts Hart; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle H. Woods and Mrs. Clesther H. Peters; one son, Alton Hart; two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Pettis, Augusta, Ga.; Mrs. Queen Ester Thomas, Mt. Vernon, New York; aunt, Mrs. Sing Davis, Augusta, Ga.; one daughter- in-law, Frances H. Hart; seven grands, sisters-in-law; brother- in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends. Servant of God, well done. Rest from thy loved employ;. The battle fought, the victory won, Enter thy master joy." I! IIHPWW MHHMIIIIIIMUIMWMIM PROGRAMME Rev. J. S.
