C hurch FANNIE H ARRIS was born on August 2, 1917 in Wadley, Georgia to the late Essie Montgomery and Robert Young. A t an early age she moved to Augusta, Georgia, where she made Augusta her home. She married George T. Harris, Sr. who has preceded her in death. From this union two children were born; one of the two children preceded her in death, George T. Harris, Jr. She also had a grandson, Robert Johnson, to precede her in death. She was a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served on the Usher Board and eagerly served in different capacities until her health would no longer permit. In 1996 Fannie relocated to Rochester, New York, with her loving daughter and family until the Lord called her home on December 31, 2010. Fannie's memory will always be cherished by: her daughter, Dora (Isaiah) Anderson; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He put His arms around her and lifted her to rest. G od's garden must be beautiful; He always takes the best. He knew that she was suffering; He knew she was in pain. He knew that she would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed her weary eyelids, and whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose her, but she did not go alone. For part o f us went with her the day God called her home. The family of the late Sister Fannie L. Harris, extends their sincere appreciation to everyone for all expressions of kindness and every thought of sympathy during our time of bereavement. Very humbly, the family says, "Thanks so much" to one and all. May God richly bless all of you. i t i n e r a / //oto//j/ttoo., .jfcie. 1765 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard - Augusta, Georgia 706.722.5551 2945 Old Tobacco Road - Hephzibah, Georgia 706.792.1003
