Pitts, Officiating ** OBITUARY ** Mr. Harris soul took flight Monday, April 22,1991. Mr. George T. Harris was born in Wadley, Georgia in the year 1913. At an early age he moved to Augusta, Georgia with his parents. Shortly after he made Augusta his home, he joined the Bethel A.M.E. Church where he served until death. He always involved himself with the Sunday School, serving as Superintendent in his early years. He was Class Leader of Class Number Eleven, a Steward, and past member of other auxiliaries. His loyalty to the Boy Scout program was unsurpassed by none. Bro. Harris was punctual, caring and supportive of his family, church and community. His memory will always be cherished by his wife, Mrs. Fannie Lee Harris; one daughter, Mrs. Dora Mae Anderson, Syracuse, N.Y.; one son, George T. Harris, Jr. of Denver, Colorado; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Dora Holmes, Philadelphia, Pa.; three nieces, four nephews; son-in-law, Mr. Isaiah Anderson; daughter-in-law, Vivian Harris; one brother-in-law, Mr. George Ellenton, Philadelphia, Pa.; other relatives and friends. * * * * The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, Blessed by the Name of the Lord." ** ORDER OF SERVICE ** THE PRELUDE ..................................
