Hamilton, Officiating (btimtrgr John Euston Hardy was bom to Pearl and John Hardy on March 6, 1915 in Augusta, Georgia. He departed this life on January 1, 1994. He grew up in Richmond County and graduated from Walker Baptist Institute. Mr. Hardy retired from the V.A. Hospital as Supervisor o f Food Services after thirty years o f service. He received several awards while employed there. He was a U.S. Army Veteran o f World War II. He was converted and joined the Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early. He served on the Board ofTrustees for more than thirty years. He married Juanita Terrell and they celebrated their forty-seventh wedding anniversary. To this union one son, John E. Hardy, III, was bom who preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mrs. Juanita T. Hardy; grandchildren, Marquis Hardy, Tiese Herrington; brother-in-law, Mr. Johnnie Gardner, Williamsburg, VA; niece, Mrs. Louise Hardy Penn, Buffalo, NY; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jacqueline Hardy, Hephzibah, GA; sister-in-law, Mrs. Delma Gardner, Williamsburg, VA; cousins, Mr. W illie Rich, New York City, Mrs. Mazie 0 .
