OBITUARY Mrs. Charlie Mae Roosevelt Hankerson was born February 17, 1941 in Burke County to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Brooks Hankerson. She departed this life November 28, 1979. Mrs. Roosevelt was baptized at an early age at Bottsford Baptist Church. She was united in holy martimony in 1961 to Mr. Jonas Roosevelt, to this union was born two sons; Frederic Lamar and Rufus Hankerson. ..-^ Mrs. Roosevelt leaves to cherish her memory her dear mother; Mrs. Corine Hankerson and grandmother; Mrs. Annie Hankerson. Five sisters; Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hankerson of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Willie Mae Hall of Augusta; Mrs. Juanita Ingram of Augusta, Ga; Mrs. Mary Covington of Augusta, Ga; and Mrs. Alberta Evans of St. Petersburg Fla., three brothers; Mr. Willie Hankerson, Mr. Boise Hankerson and Mr. Lester Hankerson all of Augusta, Ga; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters- in-J.aw and brothers-in-law. OUR SISTER Up, Up, high from his throne above the Lord looked down on our sister with love we saw her dimly as through a mirror but the Lord saw her much more clearer tears, the sound of thunder the Lord he shed as sister Charlie Mae struggled on her death bed.
