MR. TRAVIS RAYNARD HAMPTON, age 55, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 26, 2021. He was born on August 21, 1966, to Lonnie Mae Hampton and the late Eddie James Hampton in Augusta, Georgia. 
At an early age, Travis accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Dearing, Georgia. He later began to attending the Vanderhorst C.M.E. Church in Thomson, Georgia. He was educated in the McDuffie County School system and graduated from the Thomson High School in 1984. Travis enjoyed hanging around his family and friends. He was a gifted young man with many talents, such as barbering anda electronic installer, just to name a few. Also, he was a fork lift driver when he was employed at John Deere Commercial Products Incorporation. He enjoyed watching sports. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #205. He will truly be missed by many. 
Travis was preceded in death by his niece, ZaQuana Hampton. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a loving and devoted mother, Lonnie Mae Hampton of Thomson, Georgia; two sisters, Felicia (Dwane) Jenkins of Thomson, Georgia and La'Randa (Tracy) Reese of Winder, Georgia; one nephew, Ryan Grier of Smryna, Georgia; great-niece, Londyn Barclay ofWinder, Georgia; eight aunts, Santa Myrick, Bonnie Belton, Roberta Tutt, Louise Howard, Ida (Bobby) Lowe, Betty (Roy) Mcnair, Sara Jones and Lula Zimmerman; seven uncles, James Hampton, Richard Hampton, Willie Hampton, Ralph Franklin, Caldwell Myrick, Willie Myrick, and Charlie "Randy" Myrick; a devoted friend, Cindy Ritley; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
