Scott, Officiating ** OBITUARY ** Mr. Henry Hacker, Sr., who departed this life August 3, 1985, was born the son of the late MeShack and Mary Hacker July 8, 1908 in Edgefield County, S.C., but had lived in Augusta for many years. At an early age he was converted and baptized and joined the Spring Grove Baptist Church where he remained until death. In the year 1932 on March 24 he was joined in Holy Wedlock to Miss Katie McKie, and to this union thirteen children were born, six girls and seven boys. He worked hard to support his family. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Mrs. Katie Hacker of the home; seven sons, Sam, Henry, Jr., and Ricky Hacker of Augusta, Clyde, W illie, Andrew and Roger Hacker of Brooklyn, N Y ,; six daughters, Minnie W ilson and Georgia Callaway of Chicago, 111., Mary Watson, Tocoma, W ashington, Irene Dotson, Frankfurt, Germany, Barbara Perry, Patricia W illiam s, Augusta, Ga.; four sisters, Fannie Mackie of Philadelphia, Pa., Ida Glenn, Azerine Bussey of Belvedere, S.C. and Marie Johnson, Brooklyn, N.Y.; sixty grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, four sons-in-law, five daughters-in-law, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Georgia Key of North Augusta, S.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. ** ORDER OF SERVICE ** PRESIDING ................................................................
