The hills were hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes, And whispered "Peace Be Thine", The weary hours, the days of pain, The sleepless nights are past, The ever-patient worn-out frame Has found sweet rest at last. Let all who are sad take heart again; We are not along in our hour of pain. Our father stoops from His throne above To soothe and quiet us with his love. He leaves us not when the storm is high, And we have safety for his is high; Can it be trouble which He doth share? Oh, rest in peace for the Lord does care. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS The family of the late Mrs. Nettie L. Gee, acknowledges with deep gratitude your many acts of kindnesses, prayers, and other expressions ofsympathy extended to us during our time of bereavement.
