Obituary 
Mr. Leroy Bush Garnett was born on January 1, 1936 in 
Columbia County. He departed this life Saturday, June 13, 1992 at the 
University Hospital. 
He was converted and baptized into the fellowship of the Elim 
Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. R. L. Boyd. 
Survivors are two sons, Mr. Darrell Garnett and Mr. Derek 
Garnett; mother, Mrs. Luree Dunn; one sister, Ms. Lucille Garnett; 
three nieces, four nephews; a goddaughter, Shemeicka Bean; five aunts, 
one uncle, and a host of other relatives and friends.

We seemed so strong holding back tears,

And I thanked him every night for another day. 
Be strong, my loved ones, always love one another 
Be a thoughtful sister, be a kind brother

The blood ties no one can part. 
And if somewhere I made a mistake, 
As you live many you will make.

Walk with God, trust Him every day.
