Jackson, Officiating (hiinarjj Qj CWCVCL & O U C K was bom on January 29, 1925, the third child of fifteen, to Mrs. Minnie S. Scott and the late James Scott, Sr. She was bom and raised in Kingstree, South Carolina, and she ventured to Augusta with Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Schafer. Although her intentions were not to stay in Augusta very long, she met the love of her life and married in 1946, to the late Rev. John W. Fouch. It was from that point on that Augusta became her home. Mrs. Fouch was a Christian woman, who put God as the head of her life and held her family close to her heart. She treated her nieces and nephews as though they were her children by providing them not only with love, but guidance and understanding. Mrs. Fouch grew up in the Methodist Church and often spoke of her Christian learning at "Bethel" A.M E. in II ,iy T gkQ was baptized and joined the Pmey Grove Baptist Church family, to which she was faithful. She retired from the Richmond County Board of Education and is remembered by many o f her former co-workers and students as "the lady who could bake." Cooking was one of her passions and she enjoyed family gatherings. She leaves those who will miss her and loved her dearly, to cherish her memories: her mother, Mrs. Minnie S. Scott; brothers, James Scott, Joseph (Sula) Scott, Sr., Kingstree, SC, David Scott and Harold (Cassie) Scott, Bronx, NY; John L. (Frances) Scott and Wilfred L. (Hettie) Scott, Queens, NY; and Charles (Judy) Scott, Yellow Spring, OH; sisters, Lucille (John) Holmes, Bemetha (Julius) Causwell, Minnie (Alfred) Thomas and Barbara J. (Cleo) Fulmore all of Kingstree, SC; uncle, Ben Scott, Camden, NJ; aunt, Eleanora Williams, Phoenix, AZ; goddaughters, Charlisa H. Williams, Patricia Avery and Julie Norris; nieces and nephews close to the home; Mrs. Frances (Bert) Maxwell, Mrs. Genola (Roscoe) Jimperson, Ms. Frenchie Taylor, Ms. Jerlin Luke, Panessa Luke, Samonda (Anthony) Gunby, Jermeka Ford, Inetta Taylor, Isaac Taylor, III, Charlie Williams, II, Sarah Maxwell, Bert Maxwell, II, Talicia Wilson, Mr. Tyre Luke and Anthony J.
