** OBITUARY ** Mrs. Laura Richardson Fields was born in Barnwell County, South Carolina on June 2, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Will Richardson. She attended public school in Barnwell County, S. C. and Augusta, Ga. At an early age she sought Christ and was converted, she was bapti2ed and joined the Park Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. W. E. Davis. She was also a member of the usher board. In the year of 1962 she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1965 she married Mr. Tim Fields. During the year of 1963 she united in church fellowship with Salem Tabernacle Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio under the late Rev. Wilson. She was a member of the usher board and served as president for 18 years. She was an active member until death. She was a member of the Supreme International Masons and the adopted Rite of the Order of The Eastern Star, she was elected their worthy matron and held that officeship for 15 years. She was also appointed their supervisor of the Junior Department. "She is absent from flesh, but present with the Lord." She leaves to cherish her loving memory a husband, Mr. Tim Fields; a devoted son, Mr. Willie Howard Richardson of Brentwood, N.Y.; a devoted sister, Mrs. Willie Mae R. Williams; one brother, Mr. Horace Richardson of Aiken, S.C.; two grandchildren, Keyza and Little William; one aunt, Mrs. Cora Black of Aiken, S.C.; one uncle, Mr. Lena Hankerson of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Joyce A.
