CINDY FARR was born, on January 3, 1950 in Lilbourn, Missouri to the late Lucious and Julia Crawley, Sr. She attended Howardville High School prior to moving to St. Louis, Missouri. She accepted God as her personal savior in 1985 after being diagnosed with cancer and moving her family from Lawton, Oklahoma to Fort Wayne, Indiana where she was so on fire for God. She unwittingly began her own street ministry by praying for anyone she encountered that would allow her to pray on her daily walks to work, church and stores. Anyone who met or knew Cindy, as she was affectionately called, was going to pray with her or be prayed for. She committed her life to serving God to the best of her ability. Professionally, Cindy worked retail and as a CNA in nursing facilities in the many states she lived. Cindy was preceded in death by: her son, Derrick Farr; two sisters, Linda Patrick and Madeline Ivory; and one brother, Frederick Crawley. On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, God dispatched one of his beautiful Angels to open the gates, and welcomed Cindy into eternal rest. Her memories will continue to live through her loving family: two devoted daughters, Stacie Farr and Tonia Farr Gibbons of Grovetown, GA; loving siblings, Ruby Walker (Floyd) of Fort Wayne, IN, Lucious Crawley, Jr. of Flint, MI, Eddie Crawley of Columbia, MO, Edna Sexton (Charles) of Chicago, IL and Lance Cushionberry (Ruthie) of Fort Wayne, IN; loved god- grandchildren, Mia Ragland and Maurice Norman, Jr. of Hephzibah, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. rife a kb- & z scrim Presiding, Reverend Patrick Outler Lampkin Grove Baptist Church Musical Prelude Processional Scriptures Old Testament..............Elder Dexter Peggins Covenant Family Church New Testament..............Pastor Hardie Davis, Jr. Abundant Life Worship Center Prayer......................................Pastor Evett Davis Abundant Life Worship Center Selection.....................Shayla Walden, Christina Shorter and Katrina Prophet Acknowledgements...............................Leadra Collins Reflections....................................Video Tribute Lucious Crawley - As A Brother Carla Walker - As A Niece Tonia Farr Gibbons - As A Daughter Obituary..........................................Read Silently Selection.......................Shayla Walden, Christina Shorter and Katrina Prophet Eulogy.....................................Stacie Farr, Daughter Recessional - REPAST - The family will gather for fellowship at THE BORO CONFERENCE AND EVENT CENTER 3112 Wrightsboro Road | Augusta, GA Dont Grieve For Me Dont grieve for me, for now Im free, Im following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My lifes been full, I savored much, good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, dont lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee, God wanted me now, He set me free. Acknowledgements The family of the late Florence L. Cindy Farr wishes to extend sincere gratitude for all expressions of kindness and comfort shown during the illness and bereavement of our loved one.
