He was retired from the Augusta Chronicle Newspaper Cor poration after 18 years. He leaves to mourn his passing a devoted wife, Mrs. Carrie Bell Evans, Augusta; a foster sister, Mrs. Etta Mae C olden, Augu sta; foster brother, Mr. Joseph Johnson, Augusta; two sisters-inlaw, Mrs. Fannie L.
