He married Barbara Joy Cole on November 6, 1929. They had three children, Ehrman H. Eldridge, Jr.. M.D., (Lucky), Cheryl Lynne Eldridge and Ly Barbara Eldridge. Ehrman, a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army of America Armed Forces, Army Infantry, was awarded the National Defense Service Medal with OLC; United Nations Service Medal; Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars; Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation; Combat Infantry Badge with OLC; Vietnam Ser- vice Medal with 6 Bronze Service Stars; Vietnam Cam- paign Medal, 7 o/s Bars; Bronze Star Medal; Good Con- duct Medal; and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm. He was a 33rd degree Mason. He is survived by: his caring ex-wife, Barbara J. Eldridge; son Ehrman H. (Patricia) Eldridge, Jr. M.D.; daughters, Cheryl L. Eldridge and Ly B. Eldridge; brothers, Mack Eldridge, James Henry Eldridge, Jr., William Eldridge, and Leon Eldridge all deceased; and John Eldridge, Henry Eldridge, Leroy Eldridge, Frederic Eldridge and Lawrence Eldridge; sisters, Virginia Sims, Verne Alt and Luvennia Dixon; grandson, LaRekos M. Ware; granddaughters, Myleata R. Eldridge, Melissa R. Eldridge, and Megan M. Eldridge; great grandson, LeRekos M. Ware, Jr.; great granddaughters, Mia D. Ragland and Mikayla R.
