Elam, the daughter of the late Mr, Zack and Mrs. Georgia Madison, Sr., was born June 1, 192U, in Aiken County, South Carolina, and departed from this life on Friday, September 9, 1983, at her residence, At an early age she was converted and Baptized at Old Hanmond Grove Baptist Church by the late Rev. A.. Vincent. Later, she moved her membership to the Bethle hem Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health failed. She was amember of the Bethlehem Sr, Choir, Club #1, Womens Club, Deaconess Board, Union Rising Stars Benevolent Society, Union Brotherly Love Society, and the Stars of Faith Christmas Charity Club. She was the Founder of the Stars of Faith Christmas Club and served as president and treasurer of various Organizations, She was united in Holy Wedlock to Kr. James "Diner" Elam in September 19l;3> to this union one daughter was born. A devoted wife and mother, one who always put the interest of her family first, who saw to it that her children were given the best she could provide in loving care, Spiritual nourishment, and material comfort. The Example she lived day by day will forever be a goal for her family to strive to reach. She gave her all for hii and ihe family. He gave t o her now, she added to his greai and blessed fsmily in the world beyond our vision which for lack of a better name, we called Heaven. She leaves to mourn her passing, a loving and de voted husband, Mr. James "Diner" Elaraj A loving and de voted daughter, Mrs. Minnie E.
