RomuCus Dozier, Jr. was born on December 23,1931 in SaCuda, South Carodna to the Cate RomuCus Dozier, Sr. a n d lAnnie Dozier. Jfe was educated in South Carodna. RomuCus he f e d h i s d a d tremendousCy on the fa rm a n d his fa th er taught him carpentry. T"heirfir s t project was a barn andeventuaCCy they budt thefamiCy home. He became an exceCCent carpenter. 
He h a d a smiCe that wouCdmake anyone Cooking at him smiCe back. He was easy going a n d soft hearted 3-Ce was aCways wiCCing to Cenda hand, time or money. One o f the most genuine, friendby peopCe you ever met. He was weCCCoved a n d Ciked in Cife. 
He met his wife, 3-CiCda 'Brock, in 1969. fr o m that union, John Demetrius Brock, MarCon Jermaine Brock a n d Rawana Tatrice Brock were born. JCe was a devoted husband a n d fa th er. 3Je was a CoyaCRedskins fa n a n d an a v id fisherm an. One o f his best catches was "Bubba" a 22 inch Rock fish . He h a d a weCcoming spirit a n d was aCways wiCCing to share his Cife experiences a n d wisdom. JAfter he retired, he spent time teaching other aspiring carpenters the ropes. 
Junior was p reced ed in death by his son John Demetrius Brock, his sister Mrs. M ary CoCeman a n d his brother CCarence Dozier. Tomie: One time I went to work with dad and I knew he was a carpenter. But, I d id not know how smart dad was. They got stuck on the job an d the boss came over an d said "we need your heCp over here." T a d started reading the LCueprints. I said, "dad, how do you know how to read LCueprints?" Me said, "I taught myseCf. AVhen I was growing up it was a different time, you had to teach yourself. I had to stop going to schooCa n d work on the farm. I Cearneda Cot from my dad but I had to Cearn to take it further. "
