ROBERT SUTTON, OFFICIATING OBITUARY Mrs. Mamie Davis 85, departed this life Friday night, April 25, 1975 at Wills Memorial Nursing home Washington, Georgia, after a brief illness. She was a native of Lincoln County, Georgia but lived in Washington, Georgia for the past 25 years. She was a mem ber of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Lincolnton, Georgia. She was a member of St. John Good Samaritan Lodge, Washington, Ga. Survivors include one stepdaughter, Mrs. Eula Mae Elam, Lincolnton; two daughters, Mrs. Rosa Lee Heard and Mrs. Corinne Wallace, Greenville, S. C.; one sister, Mrs. Lela Smalley, Augusta; eleven grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Why did I laugh tonight? No voice will tell Deigns to reply from Heaven.
