 Mrs. Mildred Geneva Brisbane Cooper (affec tionately called "Minnow" as a young woman) was born on May 8, 1917, one of six children, to the late Rebecca Blanchard Brisbane and Andrew Brisbane in Augusta, Georgia. She departed this life for eternal rest with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 19, 2003 at University Hospital. 
At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and joined the church family of Trinity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. 
Mildred was united in Holy Matrimony for over fifty years to the late Henry Cooper on November 6, 1943. Of this union, three daughters were born. She attended Nelleville School and was a graduate of Luevenias School of Cosmetology. For many years, she owned, operated and retired from Mildreds Beauty Salon. Mildred enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and home interiors. 
She was preceded in death by all her siblings and one grand son, Robert Augustus "Barney" Law, Jr. 
She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Henrietta Avery, Hephzibah, Georgia, Brenda "Diane" Jason, Augusta, Georgia, and Saundra (David) Burns, Hephzibah, Georgia; two granddaughters, Erica Rashawn Jason, Charlotte, North Carolina and Kendra Genell Jason; four grandsons, Walter Raymond Bridges, 11, Sgt. Eric Von Bridges, U.S. Army, Iraq, Jeremy Purcell Harris and Rodney Charles Jason, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Ernestine Cooper Plummer, Jacksonville, Florida, and Clydie M. Cooper, Columbus, Georgia; devoted caregivers, niece, Joan lies and son-in-law, David Burns; devoted cousin, Sophia Green; devoted neighbor, Louis Linwood; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

her suffer and fade away. Although we loved her deeply, 
we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us
