Retry was called home by her heavenly Father on October 13, 2007, from Trinity Hospital, Augusta, Georgia after a brief illness. Betty was educated in the Richmond County Public School System, where she graduated from George P. Butler High School in 1972. She accepted Christ as a young adult at First Moriah Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. Upon relocating to Oakland, California, she continued to serve our GOD. Betty lived in Oakland, California for over twenty-five years. While there, she worked as a hotel manager. Betty returned back home to her family and friends in 2000. She then began a career with Sears Contract Sales Center as a Customer Service Representative and RG1S Inventory Corporation as an Inventory Personnel. Betty was an excellent worker and was loved by so many people. Betty loved her family and friends. She had a loving smile and a memorable personality. She leaves her love and memories to he cherished by: her mother, Mrs. Lettuce J. Fason of Augusta, GA; her sisters, Mrs. Florine Moore (Reverend Edward) Payne of New Castle, DE, Dr. Jacqueline Fason of 1lephzibah, GA and Ms. Gloria Fason 1lolmes of Augusta, GA; two nieces, Mrs. Lynette (Barheem) Farlow of Mi'ddleton, DE and Ms. Ronda Spencer of 1lephzibah, GA; three nephews, Rydna (Kori) Williams of Alta Loma, CA, Tremell Harvey of Union City, GA and Adam X.
