 ** OBITUARY ** 
 
For we know that this earthly house o f our Tabernacle would dissolve, we have a building o f God, a house, not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 
I I Corinthians 5:1 
 
Mrs. Sarah Collier, whom departed this life February 28,1986, was born November 10, 1895, the daughter of the late Robert and Lucy Sullivan. 
 
In the year 1911 she was converted and baptized and joined the Spring Grove Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Rev. A. W. Vincent, where she served faithfully until death. 
 
In the year 1918 she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Isiah Collier. To this union nine children were born. She was a loving mother, faithful to her family and always reaching out to help others and make them happy and comfortable. 
 
She leaves to cherish her memories six daughters, Rose Artis of Brooklyn, N.Y., Louvenia Hacker ofJamaica, N.Y., Novilla Dandrige of St. Petersburg, Fla., Ida M. Shannon and Mattie Lofton of Augusta, Ga.; one adopted daughter, Lucille Philpot of Washington, D.C.; three sons, Vandibelt Collier of Belvedere, S.C., Fred Collier of Augusta, Ga. and Willie Collier of Washington, D.C.; two daughters-in-law, four sons-in-law, two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Newsome of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Hattie Johnson of Miami, Fla.; two brothers, Mr. Dennis Sullivan of N. Augusta, S.C., and Robert Sullivan of Bath, S.C.; one brother-in-law, Mr. Joe Scott of Homestead, Fla.; twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and sorrowing friends.

I cannot sav and I will not say That she is dead, she is ju st away. W ith a cheery smile and a wave o f the hand She has wandered into an unknown land. She left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be since she lingers there 
Think o f her faring on as dear, In the love o f there as the love o f here. 
M ild and gently as she was brave When the sweetest love o f her life she gave. 
Think o f her still as the same, I say; She is not dead, she is ju st A W A Y ....
