LORENE COLEMAN - SMITH, daughter of the late Leroy Sr., and Irene Coleman, was born on December 22,1945 in Saluda, SC. She quietly departed this life on Friday, March 28, 2003, at Self Regional Hospital, Greenwood,SC. At an early age shejoined the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and later Moved her membership to the Lockhart Baptist Church. Lorene was a graduate of the Riverside High School, Class o f 1964. She was Married to the late Harrison Smith, Jr., andfo r many years they owned and operated Smith and Sons Fish Market in Saluda. Those left to cherish her memories are three sons, Gerald (Patsy),and Harrison HI both o f Saluda, SC., and Jeffery Smith o f Kershaw, SC., seven grandchildren, three sisters, Irene Gantt, (her caregiver twin), Virginia Vaughn, and Marie Glover all o f Saluda, SC., four brothers, Leroy, Jr., (Mary) of Suitland, MD., Charles o f Philadelphia, PA., Jack of Pelion, SC., and Lawrence (Naomi) Coleman all of Saluda, cousin/brother, William W. (Douskia) Coleman of Lincoln, NE., one aunt, Ludie Brown o f Saluda, SC., a host o f nieces, nephews, relatives and many sorrowingfriends. Casket Bearers.................
