Ecclesiastes 3:1-2. Mrs. Marie H. Cobb was bora on January 19, 1925 to the late Mr. Ossie Hicks and Mrs. Lessie Hicks in Lincolnton, Georgia. She attended school in Lincoln County Georgia. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Cleveland Cobb and to that union was bom one son. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour at the New Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lincoln County Georgia. She was a special quiet loving lady, who valued her privacy, but at the same time willingly shared her love with those around her. She entered into eternal life on March 13, 2002 at Wills Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and ten brothers and sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Mr. Joe L. Cobb and his wife, Mrs. Naomi R. Cobb of Lincolnton, GA; her last brother, Mr. Columbus Hicks and his wife, Mrs. Vera Hicks of Tampa Florida; two grandsons, Mr. Kevin (Marcelina) Cobb, Sr., of Augusta, GA, Joseph Cobb of Lincolnton, GA; one devoted granddaughter, Mrs. Theresa (EL) Welch of Dayton, Ohio; Five nieces, Mrs. Doris Zellars of Lincolnton, GA, Ms. Peggy Williamson of High Point, NC, Mrs. Eula (Kelvin) Berassa of Lithonia, GA, Mrs. Mary (Isiah) Burns, and Ms. Debbie Partlow both of Augusta, Georgia; four nephews, Mr. Hammie Eugene (Carrie Dorothy) Partlow, Mr. Ira Partlow, Mr. Nelies Hicks, Jr., all of Augusta, GA, Mr. David (Claudia) Williamson of High Point, NC, Mr. Gregory (Andrea) Hicks of Los Angeles, CA. two great-granddaughters; Nakeia Welch and Devin Cobb; three great-grandsons, Cordero Cobb, El Welch, Jr. and Kevin Cobb, Jr., fifteen great-nieces and greatnephews; Eferem Fitzgerald (Johnnie Mae) Zellars, DMarquis (Kish) Burns and Rico Partlow; Dexter Berassa, Gregory Hicks, Jar.; Aisha Hicks, Keisha Hicks, Nicole Quails, Jennifer Smith, Tracy Hicks, Rodriques Stringer, Tomeko (Marty) Tutt, Kenisha Partlow, Chasity (Wesley) Bums, David Williamson, Jr., and a host of other relatives and acquaintances.
